I recently shot a series of images to commemorate my Grandfather’s military service in the British Army during WW1. He was an Irishman, and like over 200,000 of his fellow countrymen, history has forgotten their service and sacrifice. The reasons are complex and controversial. Even today, 100 years after the start of WW1, the subject is emotive and divisive in Ireland. These print ads are an attempt to rectify a wrong. Time to remember.
