Commute home from Frankfurt today. Problem with driving in Germany is you get used to driving at elevated speeds. Which, in my opinion, enhances driving safety. At high speeds unwavering concentration is mandatory and you keep an eagle eye on everyone else on the autobahn. When crossing the Dutch or Belgian border - driving at 120km feels like a crawl.

Anybody who has even a passing knowledge of my #portrait #photography can see the lighting and compositional influence of the great master #painters of #antiquity. #Rubens is the master of the masters. Known primarily for his #sensuous and #sensual rendering of human flesh, Rubens was also a great #draughtsman - I was particular impressed with his accurate painting of #dogs. Not easy. Try it.
