No more heroes. | Smithsonian Institution Rock and Roll

This is a great idea. The Smithsonian in the US is compiling a compendium of the best rock’n’roll photography throughout the ages for eventual publication in a book. Nice to see my first entry has been selected for consideration. Some great photography on display here. Worth a visit. Link to site: Source: No more heroes. | Smithsonian Institution Rock and Roll

Thx David. Sounds more impressive than it really is – the photo has only been accepted for consideration. But exciting project though – some great shots on the site already. Photography and R’n’R perfect bedfellows. While I have ya – happy xmas to one and all .Keep up the excellent writing and, maybe, one day in 2016 we’ll share a beer somewhere.

Smithsonian + shortlisted + CV = Pretty darn cool to me. ‘T all depends on how you frame it! 🙂 Happy Chrimbo to you and yours also. It would be great to meet up one day. I’d love to chew the fat (over a glass of Shiraz or two) about art, creativity and solving the world’s problems. I think the last one would be quite easy! All the best, D.
