It’s been busy these last couple of weeks. I’m delighted I’m starting to get briefs that allow me to create the kind of portrait work I love to do – simple, yet with a lot of punch. The Belgian cartoonist Nix (http://www.nix.be) was a real pleasure to shoot. I love working with people who are passionate about what they do and Nix made my job of capturing his cheeky sense of humour easy and fun. Just as it should be. Onwards and upwards. Sean_Hayes_Photographer_MarchSean_Hayes_Photographer_March 2 (1)Sean_Hayes_Photographer_MarchSean_Hayes_Photographer_March 3 (1)

Quick update. I’m pleased to announce that I have a new agent for my professional portrait and reportage photography. His name is Jean-Claude Meert. A Belgian national with who I’ve had the pleasure working with on many advertising projects over the years. Jean-Claude has a vast amount of experience producing advertising TV spots with his own production company and as TV Producer with TBWA Brussels. Should you wish to contact him with a view to working together on a project his email is : jcmadethat@gmail.com

Here are some examples of portrait work posted on my IG account. Link : https://www.instagram.com/sean_hayes_photography/

At a loss to understand why ‘fake news’ is considered ‘new’ news. Everybody has being lying to everybody else since we crawled out of the primordial swamp. To be more precise, believing their own perceptions of reality; packaging and promoting it – for personal gain. This Guardian commercial from a London ad agency in 1986 not only sums up why advertising became a noble profession (through the sheer creativity of simple observation – sadly gone) but also through the fallibility of what people believe and why they believe it. Today’s journos take note. Examine all issues from all angles, then decide. The power of discernment. Thank you for your 3 and half ‘Likes’.

It’s been a busy couple of months since I launched myself as a professional photographer in June. Some really nice briefs have been coming my way. Keep them coming:) If you get a moment, maybe you could visit my online portfolio and have a browse around to see if there’s anything that catches your eye. Let’s make beautiful pictures together. http://seanhayesphotography.format.com

Really enjoying my new profession as a photographer. Here is a quick selection of some of my favourite shots since taking the leap in June. Many thanks to the people who have also taken a leap of faith and hired me. You know who you are. Thank you. For more of my work, please visit http://seanhayesphotography.format.com

Cinemagraphs are still photographs brought to “life”. The Dublin-based creative team of Trista Vincent and Declan Byrne have commissioned me to create a suite of images for their Car’n’Stuff campaign for Liberty Insurance Ireland. Lots of fun. More to come. Click on images to see the magic.    Source: Sean Hayes’s Photography Portfolio – Cinemagraphs
