I would love to paint. Technically, I have the ability – but lack of time coupled with plenty of procrastination seem to hamper my efforts to put pigment to paper or canvas. That was until I discovered the next best thing to pigment – pixels. Less messy, but just as creative, photo apps for smartphones are a minor miracle in their sophistication and ease of use. And price. For the price of a coffee, photo apps can give you all the power and functionality of any professional image editing tool. I’ve lost count of how many photo apps I’ve downloaded over the years and have enjoyed experimenting with different tones, hues and textures. The images posted here are the results of that experimentation. Hope you like them – and should you like one of them enough to want a pristine print on your wall, please write to me at email@example.com and we’ll chat about print sizes, prices and shipping arrangements.
