Homage to Horst.

Best of 2017. Better in 2018.

I haven’t posted here in a while. For a very good reason. I’ve been busy doing the work instead of writing about doing it. Productivity has replaced procrastination. And the last 6 months of 2017 have been particularly productive. I’ve worked hard at honing my portrait photography skills and the work is beginning to get to a place I’m happy with. Still a long way to go. Photography really is a journey and not a destination. Although a trite statement, it doesn’t make it any less true. Thank you to all the people who helped me on that journey in 2017 – you know who you are. Much appreciated. Here’s to all of us doing our best to do things better in 2018. Happy New Year to you all.

New work uploaded to website.

Sean Hayes’ Photography Portfolio – Cinemagraphs

Cinemagraphs are still photographs brought to “life”. The Dublin-based creative team of Trista Vincent and Declan Byrne have commissioned me to create a suite of images for their Car’n’Stuff campaign for Liberty Insurance Ireland. Lots of fun. More to come. Click on images to see the magic. ¬† ¬†Source: Sean Hayes’s Photography Portfolio – Cinemagraphs

Gabi: Latest work posted to my photography website.

Since I launched myself as a full-time photographer earlier this month, commissions have being coming in thick and fast. In between shoots, I’ve taken the opportunity to take¬†casting headshots of some of the models. Voil√† Gabi and her beautiful eyes.
